Overcoming Anger

Anger is an expression of inner pain; an indication that all is not well in our world. It is one of the most powerful and destructive emotions. Whether it seeps out in the form of irritation and resentment, or explodes in full rage, it causes damage to us and to others. Anger also has many subtle faces which influence our behavior and our relationships.

How can we change the anger within and use our energy in more positive ways?

The Brahma Kumaris would like to invite you to join in a 3 session’s course on Overcoming Anger.

This anger management course will cover the following:

  • Understanding the underlying causes of anger
  • The effects of anger on our well-being
  • Using our energy in a more productive way

The first session will be on Wednesday, 2nd May and the second session will be on 4th May and the concluding session will be on Monday 8th May. All sessions will start at 5 pm and conclude at 6.30 pm.

Please arrive 10mins earlier to the first class for registration. The course will be followed by The Foundation Course in Raja Yoga Meditation.

  1. But it stands to reason that the organisation cannot just be about overcoming anger. Being from the Jim Jones era, I immediately checked the internet for all I could find, including critiques by the disaffected. Something I found: http://bkwsuwatch.com/
    Once we are talking religion, we also have to talk about science and see in what ways it may be clashing with the findings of known scientific research. We might manage to overcome anger through it but one doesn’t have to swallow everything hook, line, and sinker.
