How to wear your hair

School ribbons being sold in an outdoor market in town. Schools in Guyana generally require students to wear a uniform from a specific colour (and fold!) of socks to the decided way to wear your hair. I love ribbons although I don’t wear any here (as yet) given my already ‘youthful’ looks. Just can’t break the ‘ribbon’ and ‘school girl’ association.

  1. Good to see that school girls still appear as such. i remember the ribbons, during my time everyone wore white or cream ones. The colours brighten up the uniforms.
